Speak Up for Libraries Postcard Campaign
Join us as we team up with all 467 public libraries in Wisconsin to speak up for your library!

Visit the library to write a quick postcard to your elected officials—let them know how important the library is to you and your community.

Whether it’s books and media, wireless or computers, storytime along with other programs, or a just a quiet place to work and study, libraries make a difference. Let’s make sure our leaders know it.

Since 1997, Wisconsin has received over $55 million in Institute of Museum and Library Services funding through 248 grants. Many of these grants were matched by state, local, or private dollars-leveraging additional investment and expanding impact. The IMLS 2025 approved budget is $325 million. That works out to just 96 cents per resident for the entire year.
Holiday Closing
The library will be closing at 5:30PM on Thursday, July 3 and will be closed all day on Friday, July 4. We will reopen for regular hours on Saturday, July 5 at 9:30AM.
CANCELLED-Library Social
