Virtual Author Talks
Whitefish Bay Public Library will showcase a virtual author talk series each month featuring bestselling, award-winning, and highly-acclaimed authors from around the world.  The featured writers and thought leaders will cover a wide range of fiction and health and wellness genres.    
 
The free, virtual series takes place 2-3 times a month and includes the opportunity to ask questions to the author.  A complete list of events is available on the virtual author talk series website at https://libraryc.org/wfblibrary. Upcoming talks include:

Programs for Children
Cherry Blossoms- Drop In Craft
Saturday, April 4, All Day
Make cherry blossoms on a tree branch. In the youth services area during open hours.
 

Celebrate Earth Day!
Wednesday, April 22, 4-5PM
All ages, Younger children are welcome with an adult caregiver.
Build a bee hotel with recycled materials. Help the Earth's pollinators! Join us in our upstairs program room.

Library News
Easter Closing
The library will be closed on Friday, April 3 and Sunday, April 5. The library will be open regular hours from 9:30AM-4PM on Saturday, April 4.

United Way Diaper Drive
We're partnering with United Way for their Spring Diaper Drive! Now until April 25, you can donate sealed packages of diapers and wipes in the Drive Donation Bin in the lobby of the library.
 
The Spring Diaper Drive, sponsored by Landmark Credit Union with support from the Milwaukee County Federated Library System, is focused on collecting diapers, wipes, and financial donations to stock United Way's Diaper Bank Hubs.

Thanks for the Memoirs Book Club
Thursday, April 9, 10AM
Thanks for the Memoirs Book Club will focus on memoirs from authors representing a variety of backgrounds and lived experiences. We will meet on the 2nd Thursday at 10am, every even month (so February, April, June...). This month we're reading Heart Berries: A Memoir by Terese Marie Mailhot.

Monday, April 20, 6-7:30PM
The Environmental Awareness Book Club is led by members of the Whitefish Bay Garden Club in partnership with the Whitefish Bay Public Library which will meet once a quarter. This month we're reading Silent Spring by Rachel Carson. Registration is encouraged for planning but not required.
