One-on-One Tech Help

Technology Training Lab

Select Thursdays

2:00 - 4:00 p.m. by appt. only

Bring in your device for a 30-minute appointment with a librarian. Library laptops will be available for general computer assistance.

Registration for each Thursday opens the Monday prior. You may only register for one 30 minute session per Thursday; walk-in appointments are not available.

Friends of the Library Meeting

Civic Center

Nov. 12th, 6:00 - 7:00 p.m.

For more than 20 years, the Friends of the Oak Creek Public Library has served as an independent organization of persons and businesses interested in assisting the library in developing programs, encouraging gifts, promoting knowledge and providing a channel for individuals and organizations to express ideas and make suggestions for library use and services.

Library Board Meeting

Tower Room

Nov. 13th, 5:00 - 6:00 p.m.

The Oak Creek Public Library Board of Trustees serves as the governing body of the Oak Creek Public Library. The Board is composed of seven members, each appointed by the Mayor for staggered three-year terms. The board usually meets on the second Thursday of each month in the Civic Center. Some meetings may be held virtually.

Advanced Excel: Pivot Tables

Technology Training Lab

Nov. 13th, 6:00 - 8:30 p.m

PivotTables are a powerful tool used to calculate, summarize, and analyze data, letting you see comparisons, patterns, and trends. This class is recommended for people who have an intermediate level knowledge of Excel (or who have taken an Intermediate Excel class).

This is a single-session class. Registration is required.

Home Buyer's Workshop - "Pages to Property"

Multi-purpose Room

Nov. 13th, 6:30 - 7:30 p.m

A local realtor and a mortgage broker will share valuable insights to help you feel at ease in today's housing market. Bring your questions, and they'll leverage their years of experience to provide expert answers. Refreshments will be offered.

Getting Your House Ready to Sell

Nov. 18th, 6:30 - 7:30 p.m

Learn expert tips on staging, decluttering, and boosting curb appeal. Maximize your property's value and attract potential buyers with our comprehensive guide. Whether you're a first-time seller or looking to optimize your process, this class has you covered.

Adoptable Dogs Meet and Greet

Multi-purpose Room

Nov. 22nd, 1:00 - 3:00 p.m

Come say "Hi!" to adoptable dogs at our meet and greet. If you find your next family member, Woof Gang Rescue will get you started in the application process!

All ages are welcome to attend. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Registration is not required.

Do you love to read Japanese comics? Celebrate Manga Day with us! Visit the 2nd floor Service Desk to choose a free magnet. One magnet per person, available while supplies last.

Join us as we explore the world of medieval knights and the castles they may have lived in.

This program is for those in grades 2-5. Registration is required.

Family Fun: Math Night

Multi-purpose Room

Nov. 6th, 6:30 - 7:30 p.m.

Co-hosted by the Oak Creek Public Library and Mathnasium to inspire kids to experience math through games and activities geared to their own level.

This program is designed for ages 4-11 with an adult (siblings welcome). Registration is not required.

Bring your imagination and creative thinking skills to our After School Art Club! At each session, you will create a different work of art.

This program is for those in grades 2-5. Registration is required.

This 30-minute Story Time is geared toward children ages 2-5, with an adult (siblings welcome). We'll be incorporating music and movement into all books, songs, and rhymes.
