Summer Reading Program
Wraps Up

Let your summer reading adventure begin at the Whitefish Bay Public Library! We’ve got a program for all ages, whether you are two or one-hundred and two. From babies all the way up to teens, we’ve got paper logs to record your reading.  It’s easy: read on your own, read together, be read to, or read to someone else. Keep track on your paper reading log and earn great prizes! Stop by the Youth Services desk to pick up your paper log. Summer reading for kids and teens ends on August 31.
 
Adults can use Beanstack (https://wfblibrary.beanstack.com/reader365) to track your reading. We have one more drawing this summer, on August 26. Adults can also join in the bonus bingo challenge. Join us for a fun summer of reading!

Library Closing for Labor  Day

The library will be closed on Monday, September 2. We will reopen for normal hours on Tuesday, September 3. We will be open Sundays starting September 8.

Saturday Morning Block Party

All Ages.  No registration required.

Join us for a fun time building at our all ages, drop-in Block Party!  We'll have a variety of building materials perfect for a variety of    ages, and you're invited to come and build.

Stop by for 15 minutes of building or stay for the entire session!

Back to School Crafts Drop-In

All Ages.  No registration required.

Get ready for Back to School by stopping by and decorating a pencil case, making a duct tape backpack charm, or washi-taping a pencil.

Our Mystery Book Club meets once a month and is led by librarian Sharon Nagel. This month we're reading The Keeper of Lost Causes by Jussi Adler-Olsen.

2024 Photography Contest

Our 8th Annual Photography Contest is open to amateur photographers of any age. We've got a number of different categories; enter one photo per category. Cash prizes include a BEST IN SHOW cash prize of $250, generously donated by Friends of the Whitefish Bay Public Library. Read all about this popular program on our website.
