Many Wisconsin residents live in rental housing. As a landlord or tenant, it is important to understand your rights and responsibilities under Wisconsin Law. Ben Merens from the Wisconsin Bureau of Consumer Protection will be here to answer the questions you have about renting out your space or being a renter yourself.

The Oak Creek Public Library Board of Trustees serves as the governing body of the Oak Creek Public Library. The Board is composed of seven members, each appointed by the Mayor for staggered three-year terms. The board usually meets on the second Thursday of each month in the Civic Center. Some meetings may be held virtually.

For more than 20 years, the Friends of the Oak Creek Public Library has served as an independent organization of persons and businesses interested in assisting the library in developing programs, encouraging gifts, promoting knowledge and providing a channel for individuals and organizations to express ideas and make suggestions for library use and services.
Our meetings are held the second Wednesday of every month (except for July and August) at 6:00 p.m., typically held in the Technology Training Lab.
Wisconsin Remembers: A Face for Every Name is part of the Wisconsin Veterans Museum’s Traveling Exhibit Program. It features a photo for each of the 1,161 Wisconsinites officially listed on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C.

Join Oak Creek Public Library this summer to read All Together Now! This all-ages Summer Reading Challenge runs Saturday, June 10 – Saturday, August 12. Prizes will be available Monday, June 12 – Saturday, August 12, or while supplies last. Participants who read for 10 hours will receive a prize and have their name added to the window mural overlooking Drexel Town Square.

Rainbow books are located on the display stand in the YA section throughout the month of June. After you read one, tell us a bit about it by filling out a short review form, and we'll give you a prize. Participants can turn in their forms at the second-floor service desk to receive their prize.
